100 years was founded based on the love of family generations by its origin. The group of producers of Yellow Caturra wanted to preserve its variety of origin despite obstacles and several proposals that promoted the change of Caturra by Castillo.
Conserving the Caturra involved working for the great challenge of combating pests and diseases by biological means. A group of 25 coffee growers work every day to preserve what their parents and grandparents have also taken care of. Most of them grow 100% yellow Caturra, others between Yellow and red Caturra. They are young people of second and third generations with their families.
It is considered a well-adapted variety, its production in very clean, without even having organic certification, are semi-organic.
They use traditional fermentation fermentation in dry pulping. They use concrete and ceramic tanks.
Some projects are to conserve natural resources, conversion to 100% organic coffee with certification within approximately 2 years.
