Asmucaes is a women’s organization devoted to growing coffee. Not only do they manage their own farms but they also work in them. A special feature is that most of the women have a family with a husband, but he does not work the land as his wife does because said land is part of a family inheritance. What prevails in this association is the desire to get ahead. The members are currently undergoing training, specifically in which they have involved their children in a coffee cupping program led by C.I. Kyoto Lohas Beans.
