The coffee association Nasawe’sx fi’zñi de gaitania was created in 2011, with the participation of 36 indigenous coffee producers from the Nasa paez community La Palmera.

The initiative is led by Fredy Ramos, Jefferson Paya and as legal representative Jose Abelardo Socorreño Atillo. Their desire is to produce and commercialize dry parchment coffee together, as well as to recover the “Mingas” community  and to reduce production costs . Through a transition period with support of  companies like  Lohas beans  the association acquired the certification in 2015.

Asocanafi of Gaitania towards the period 2016-2017 has managed to maintain the two certifications and alienated a part of the harvest with these stamps.

Nowadays they stores coffee and distributes to different national and international markets, besides working for peace and future for new generations, pretending as an organization to obtain the expected results by improving the product quality .
