The association is born at the end of 2012 in view of the need to organize as a group in order to be able to develop projects and seek better commercialization for their coffee given that market prices were no longer sustainable. Another point of reference was the Planadas groups that had advanced in new commercialization processes. The need to associate arose from several producers. Several coffee growers decided to meet in the rural settlement of Pensilvania and 50 producers initially registered. It has been with great dedication and effort that the organization has managed to obtain two (2) certification seals as Fairtrade  and Organic, which has served to access better markets and get the recognition of the families’ effort and dedication who have worked for many years within the association. This, in turn, translates into a great commitment towards nature, the environment and its conservation as well. Their motto currently is: ” WE SEEK OUR OWN WELL-BEING TODAY”.
