Cafe con altura was conformed to improve the life quality of Nariño coffee growers. They seek to achieve a high quality product for markets and greater profits and income for the farming families.

Nariño coffee is characterized by its high acidity,medium body, sweet notes, with a clean cup, smooth and very pronounced aroma. This is due to the climate and volcanic origin soil, rich in organic matter and minerals in the area.

In the small town of Buesaco there are special coffees has been recognized as winners in 2010 and 2012 in cup of excellence Colombia, distinction given by Alliance for coffee.

Coffee farmers of Buesaco are recognized also by discipline, perseverance, and other special values as their coffee. They continue working on coffee quality every day by innovation in different processes to their tradictional one.
