COODECAFEC dates back to 2001 in Cundinamarca, initially working with the Rionegro and Gualiva Cooperatives.  In 2007 the Central Cooperative of Cundinamarca – Cundicafe joined in.

The main objective of COODECAFEC is to promote the economic, social, environmental and technical development of its members, through the marketing and trade of Cundinamarca coffee.  They have strict quality standards, but in turn secure higher prices for their members. Currently there are 5,012 members spread through 30 municipalities in Cundinamarca.
